Making an LRC file manually 2018-07-13 06:46:09 Hi all. I am trying to get lyrics to show up on my Fiio X1 (second generation model), but any hints or clues on the entire board of Fiio's official site seems to not be specific enough as nothing I've found works. I have a few questions:The LRC file has to be the same name as the music file, so let's say I have a file where the song name is "song" (for simplicity sake here), but the file name itself is the track number and the title, let's say in this example it is "05 Song.flac" does this mean the corresponding LRC file has to be named "05 Song.flac.lrc" or "05 Song.lrc" or simply "Song.lrc" ? All instructions I've found don't specify.Anyone know what kind of LRC file Fiio X1II supports? Is it the simple format or enhanced format?Do the timestamps require the hundredth second field? Or can we just indicate minute and second?Do Fiio players support the chorus format (where specifying multiple timestamps for one line that is repeated), or do we need to put the lyrics in the file, line-by-line?Are ID tags necessary at the the top of the file? An lrc file is just a text file with some simple text in it, I don't know why we need to use anything fancier than a text editor but the information needed to make it work is pretty lacking, it seems all instructions just point you to some software.
