What's wrong with the countless player apps for android devices? Poweramp f.e. gives you: gapless playback, replaygain support, support of lossless files, cue-sheet handling and so on.
I think it may be overly optimistic to think that a request-thread such as this one will push foobar devs to port their software to android. be that as it may, the android players i've seen aren't nearly as polished as foobar is on the desktop. so i think there are significant gaps to fill in the market for android music players.
Remember that mobile platforms require completely different design concepts and have their own programming interfaces, so it doesn't really make that much sense to port a desktop app (or, in other words, a good desktop app probably won't make a good mobile app, without changing it substantially).
foobar2000's development is tied very closely to the win32 APIs that are provided by Windows. Programing foobar2000 on different platforms would basically require writing entirely new applications for those platforms. It's just not going to happen for the same reasons it has never happened. Feel free to search for "linux" "foobar" "Mac" "win32" "OS X" "Apple" or some combination thereof to read more threads talking about this if you're really interested. Thread Closed
