Can't make Alt+R keyboard shortcut in fb2k

I'm having trouble configuring a keyboard shortcut in fb2k 1.2.2 on Win7.

The key I'm trying to bind is Alt+R. It's not bound to anything, as far as I know. But when I type it in the 'Key' box, nothing happens.

If I try a different combination, like Alt+E, it works fine, either accepting it or telling me it's already assigned. Is something intercepting the Alt+R on my system, or does this happen for everyone?
