Automatic playback on resume from sleep mode on laptop

Hello everyone!

I have a somewhat strange issue with my foobar2000 installation on my laptop. The laptop is about six months old and runs on Windows 7. I have set it up so that when I close the lid it goes to sleep. If foobar is running (with no music playing) when the computer goes to sleep, something strange happens when I power it back up - foobar starts playing one of the tracks in the current playlist.

Does anyone recognize this issue? Is it possible to do something in order to stop foobar from automatically resuming playback when I wake the computer up?
