Playlist window not correct at start of Foobar.

When I start Foobar the playlist window nearly always looks like this:



The tabs are needlessly put under each other and several column descriptors are gone.



When I resize the playlist window (inside foobar) the problem gets corrected as soon as resize the playlist window in any direction and by any amount:





I'm running Windows 7 x64, 8GB, Catalyst 11.4, ATI 6950 @ 2560*1600. I tried Foobar 1.15 and the latest 1.16b4.

Hi,

I've got the same kind of problem.
At start of Foobar2000, some UI parts are not drawn correctly.

Initially I suspected this bug was related to SimPlaylist which is my playlist component, but after some more tests, it isn't.

In this post there are some screenshots of  a test layout and its appearance at each step.
I've done the same tests with standard playlist views and the problem is the same.

It seems that this bug only affects computers with ATI graphic cards and dual screen configuration (more tests to do).

In foobar2000, the source of the problem seems to be the use of multiple splitters.

I've just tried starting foobar with the second monitor disconnected but the problem still remains. My main monitor only accepts 2560*1600 but I read that it's appearing at a lowres of 800*600 too.

Hi !

Yesterday I updated my graphic drivers to the last avalaible version : Catalyst 11.10.
Since the upgrade the problem seems to be fixed.

Perhaps you should try to upgrade too and check if the problem still exists.

Thanks for the info!

However, it doesn't seem to help in my case.

I guess some other setting/config has been changed on your system as well.
