Filter (columns ui) and foo_discogs behaviour

Hi,

I always tag my music files with information from discogs, most importantly the style tag (classic rock, dubstep, reggae etc).
I've now added the style tag to column_ui's filter function, but there's some problem with how filter sort and presents the different styles.
Look at this picture:

For example, this album (Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Trilogy) has this information in the style tag "Prog Rock; Psychedelic Rock; Classic Rock".
Why doesn't filter place the album in it's respective categories, but instead creates a separate entry with ALL the styles for this album?

This only happens to certain albums, but there's nothing odd or different with them when looking through the item/tag/mp3 properties.

Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks.
