Question on Tagging songs

When listening to songs in foobar, is there a way to "star" a song as a favorite, and have it be reflected in my media library, so when I sync with my iphone, it is updated/reflected as a favorite on my phone?

You didn’t specify how you intend to sync, how you manage your library, etc.

foo_dop can transfer various playback statistics, including rating. That’s probably the easiest way, if not the only one.

Edit: near-complete misread on my part, so ignore me.  I can’t recall reading about ‘favouriting’ tracks, with foo_dop or otherwise, so someone else will have to advise.

Use foo_playcount and rate your "favorites" as 5 stars and create an autoplaylist %rating% IS 5 and sync that to your iDevice with foo_dop
