Edcast v3 for foobar works for me (Edcast for foobar2000 v. 3.1.23 & foobar2000 v.1.0.3 on 32-bit XP SP3).

You didn't provide any details. Is this the first time you have tried Edcast V3 with foobar? Has it ever worked? Have you tried to disable all other components in DSP Manager? How did you configure it? When does it crash? Does Edcast work for you with other programs? Etc, etc...

Edcast has the live recording button that can be used broadcasting from microphone input, but it doesn't mix inputs. It disables the foobar input.

You must use some external mixer software and either the "live recording" option in the foobar version or perhaps the standalone version of Edcast.

I mean software that can capture foobar's output and mix it with the mic input. I am not aware of such software. Possibly some DJ software can do it (maybe Virtual DJ Studio, but I am not familiar with it).

However, I noticed that I can use the regular Windows mixer for mixing the mic input and foobar's output (wave). Edcast will send the mix to the server when "live recording" is enabled. Here is a screenshot of the configuration that works for me:

It might be a Window 7 (or Vista) problem. I think that you are not the only one with that problem, for instance: http://www.windows7news.com/forum/windows-...windows-7!/

I am not at my Windows 7 PC now, so that I could try it (and will not be until next week).

In general, for any serious audio work, I still use the good old XP. On XP the Windows mixer works fine for this purpose, as I described.

Just installed edcast, and I added it to the DSP chain, but nothing is showing up. How do you use it?
