I have good experiences with foo_uie_lyrics, no crashes at all. Though I´m not shure if it is officially marked 'crashware'.

The only disadvantage is it only uses the minilyrics database, but for most things it works well..

Yes FOO_UIE_LYRICS2 ver 4.6.15 while it is flagged as crashware is pretty stable without the regular crashes of earlier versions.

foo_uie_lyrics 0.3.3.9, the latest version, has 67 crashes logged on 61 different machines.

foo_uie_lyrics2 0.4.6.15 has 64 crashes logged on 60 different machines. Four different crash addresses, although one of them seems the most common.

That's just for those versions alone. There are hundreds spanning older versions.

I'd say they're both pretty much crashware. Although I think their authors have access to their respective components' crash logs, and could probably debug these issues if they downloaded the crash minidumps. It also helps immensely if the components were already built with program databases, but that's not 100% essential to tracking down the causes of the issues.

foo_uie_lyrics2 version 0.4.6.14 works decently for me.  There are quirks in online searching at ailrc, but it hasn't crashed in recent memory.

That doesn't mean it doesn't crash for other people though.
