AACplus Gain help

Hi,

I have some doubts regarding envelope and noise gain values in envelope adjustment.
Is there any range specified for noise and envelope gain parameters?.In Helix aacplus they are specifying the maximum range of envelope gain as 16 to 20.But I think this is wrong as the ISO stream iso_al_sbr_gh_48_1.aac  gives envelope gain value as  8973.875977 in ISO code.Can anyone tell me the maximum possible value of gain parameters.
