Coverflow panel

How do you put the coverflow plugin in the foobar window? mines always in a seperate window. the only thing I think I got from lots of searching is you have to use columns ui. But when I add it as a panel with columns ui, its still in a seperate window. I unchecked/rechecked all the options nothing helped what am I missing?

Think you're using foo_bubble_coverflow. IIRC, there isn't a way to put it in a panel (and the developer has stopped developing it). Maybe you should use foo_chronflow instead.

yes I was trying foo_bubble_coverflow. ok so is it just floating on top of the window in all the screenshots i see then? mine doesn't even stay on top though so I can't even do that or get rid of the title bar. Can I add foo_chronflow to a panel?

I was trying to make something like this minus the vis

buble_coverflow: works in window. on screenshots ppl just hack around window class with foo_dockable_window (afaik its banned component but who cares right ). it only looks like it is part of window in fact it is not.

chronflow: works in panel (i didnt find way to show it in separate window) and works afaik in cui and pui. you just need to know a littlemuch about pui scripting to add it.

edit: typo

I might be an idiot, though I cannot for the life of my find how to install this anywhere !!

I downloaded the chronflow ZIP and put the foo_chronflow.dll in the components directory. I can access chronflow in the Foobar options menu, though there is no option to turn it on anywhere! How do I get it to work?

Thanks!

Which "panel" ? And do you mean "properties" ?

You add a panel for this in your config just like any other panel. This is a component for Columns User interface. Are you using columns? It is also considered CrashWare, though plenty of people do seem to use it.

As the only jpg link in this short, outdated thread is no longer working, what look/functionality are you wanting. It may be that you would be better served working with ESplaylist, not a coverflow component per say, but works with both interfaces, is actively under development and might provide enough for you.

Erich, I think the image refers to bubble_coverflow, not chronflow. For a start, chronflow doesn't work in DUI (Default User Interface).

Dan, you need CUI (Columns User Interface) to use chronflow, like tpijag said. Personally, I find both bubble_coverfow and chronflow too frustrating to use.
