32-bit Output with MPlayer

I'm trying to get MPlayer to output Vorbis in its native float32 format but am so far stuck at s16le.  Any ideas?

I wrote a patch for that a month ago: http://bugzilla.mplayerhq.hu/show_bug.cgi?id=1533. It's probably not very efficient, nor have I had any comments from the developers yet. Testing is, of course, welcome
