can anyone tell me how to get out of the allflac.com site ? I've already made the mistake to create an account and I've bought some music downloads..

Did you gave your credit card details to them (or rather to the "PSP Shop LTD", whoever owns that anyways..) or did you pay by PayPal? In case of PayPal, your credit card is safe. In case you're worried about your email, there's no way to change it yourself. I created bogus account just to help you out.  I hate those people who register here in HA just to ask help for their pirated music.. and since you're quite the opposite I guess, I decided to help you any way I can.. ain't I nice.. oowwww.  I advice you to contact them at support@allflac.com. You could try to ask them to remove your information, but I'm pretty sure that they wont, so INSTEAD you could try to fool them by telling that your current email is going to expire and you'd like to change that. Then make a new bogus e.g. Gmail account (in case they'd like to verify the new email) and give the email to them. Problem solved!

Hope this helps.

P.S. You can use e.g. 10minutemail.com with services that allow you to change your email, but require that the new email is only actived after you click a link in the "confirm" email they send. This in case the service refuses to remove your account info.

these Russian thugs

No poop.
Unfortunately, Russia has effectively become a criminal kratocracy, and the idea of giving out my credit card info to a "company" over there sends shivers down my spine.

Creature of habit.

I'm not defending Russia at all, but which countries are not "criminal". I see "poop" happen everywhere. Also one has to remember that our western culture has "brainwashed" us to see the rest of the world the way the people in power wants to. Representative democraZy is also pure smoke screen and we're offered "bread and circuses". What can one do? Just go with the flow I guess and make the most of your stay here while caring for your "neighbour".

No it really has. I would like to see the current U.S administration and future administrations put some pressure on their government to crack down on internet related crimes. Maybe establish some sort of international law to do it fairly. This kind of thing has been spiraling out of control in the last six months. I am not saying that just involves Russia, but then again you don't see anyone else forcefully attacking the U.S?

Not many of them I can tell you that much. It largely depends upon the conflict at hand though. They tried to shut down the Georgian government last year.

IF the "PSP Shop LTD" whom you gave the details is a dodgy company, I do not know for sure but it seems rather shady, you'd better contact your CC issuer and ask them what you should do. If you want to play it safe, cancel the current card and get a new one.

I think you may be panicking for no reason.  Many of these sites are legal businesses under the law of their country.  That means their credit card processing is legal in their country, which probably means they've acquired credit card machines or whatever else through Visa, AMEX, through legal means.  This means they are not some phishing site looking to steal your CC data.

There was no shortage of people who used AllOFMP3 to get music.  They paid for it using credit cards and were charged exactly what they were told they would be charged.  Speaking from personal experience, I have also paid $20 (using my CC) for one of these sites.  I was charged $20 and nothing more.  This was a long time ago so I know I never got any bogus charges after that single intentional payment.

If you don't want anything to do with the site just forget your money and never login again.  I know my account still exists on that site I used with whatever credit I didn't use.

Because some knuckleheads cannot help but bring up sites with questionable legality and because I think it puts too much burden on the moderation team to separate legal means from illegal means I am closing this thread.
