Is there a plugin to play DTS es 6.1 files? (not 5.1)

I want to know if there is a plugin for dts es 6.1 files? If have some audio music coded in dts es 6.1 and foobar only plays  5.1.

I don't think foobar2000 natively supports more than 5.1 channels (could be wrong though). It's trivial playing DTS-ES with a DirectShow player such as MPC-HC though. Look at LAV filters for good decoders.

To add on to what andy o said, LAV Filters (specifically the LAV Audio component) can wrap several versions of dtsdecoderdll.dll from Arcsoft's TMT series), providing DTS playback that is more likely to be correct (Arcsoft being a DTS licensee) than FFMPEG's decoder.  LAV Audio doesn't yet pack a mixer, though, so you'll need ffdshow or another mixer in the DirectShow filter chain to downmix 6.1 to other channel mappings as needed.

You're welcome to try the AVS input with a DirectShowSource function, assuming you have AVISynth installed. No guarantees it will work.

I found another solution for DTS-HD (MA) http://sourceforge.net/projects/dvdadecode...oo_input_dtshd/ which is the same with the one used by LAV

But still it will be nice to be able to use directshow filters too in fb
