freedb tags dissappear when the track is played.

Allright, so if I put in an audio CD, I can get the freedb tags. I click "update files" and everything shows up nice as you please. Howver, if any track from a CD is played (whether I clik on it or foober finishes the previous track and goes on to it), the freedb tagged information will dissapear and it will just say somehting like 09. [?#09] CD Track 09.  Then it won't scrobble in last.fm or anything, which is kind of annoying.

Fairly recently before htis began occuring (it'd been working properly until then) I had changed the TEMP and TMP variables in my Windows XP SP1 environment variables. I've since changed htem back, so I don't reckon that's the cause. I can't htink of anyhting else to try.

Thanks for any suggestions

Try "rewrite file tags" somewhere in your context menu (it's normally under Tagging) when the tags are right.
