APE repairing possible?

How do I decode or fix an APE file with errors, ignoring the corrupt frames?
Can't wait for a HD-AAC encoder :P

Use Winamp's disk writer and configure in_ape.dll to ignore bitstream errors.

There may be other ways, but I know that this one works for sure.  To satisfy my curiosity, could you please let me know how much audio you lose?
