Samsung K5

I plug it in, the screen says "Fully Charged" but it's not.

I use the found new hardware wizard and it gives me: "A service installation section in this INF is invalid."

I even installed Samsung Media Studio.  Every option related to my portable player is grayed out.

I've tried all three of my USB ports.
I've tried every combination of uninstalling/reinstalling WMP 10 and 11.
I've done a Windows Update.

The device itself works fine.  I was able to charge it on my Mac, but the Mac doesn't support the K5.  I can listen to the three preloaded songs on it and play with all the options.  It's a GREAT device.

So...

Please help...

EDIT: By the way, I'm on an HP Pavillion ze5170, if that matters.

Well, I thought I'd let everyone know that I finally got it working.  It took a few Windows Updates and ANOTHER WMP 11 install.  Go figure.

Also thought I'd tell you what a great device this is.  It looks GREAT, first of all.  The sound quality from the speaker is extremely impressive... especially in a quiet room... and the 3D sound option is very impressive.  The included headphones are a tad uncomfortable, but the quality surpasses that of any other earbuds and many headphones I've used.  Battery life is great... I got about 33 hours with headphones and 7 with the speaker.  Total cost was $180 for the 2 gig model... and I think it's worth it.

Thanks for reading.
