Is there a plugin that can detect re-encodes?

U know, sometimes ppl cheat. They re-encode a for example 128kbps to 320kbps and share to others.

Adobe Audiction can do the detection, but it's too hulky. I need a plugin for fb2k that can tell the truth about this. Thanks!

1. If you dont want a reencode, then rerip from your own CD

2. AFAIK there is NO technique available in the world which can detect reencodes safely. Most are just a GUESS how PROBABLE it is. Sometimes you get hits with original CDs - partially because nowadays some original CDs are made from mp3!

3. There currently is no foobar-plugin to do that.
I am arrogant and I can afford it because I deliver.

maybe this is what you search for: True Audio
you can download AuCDtect a command line utility or the Tau Analizer, which uses the same routines.
it can detect if audio data has been compressed losslessly or if it is original wav
