Can't get ABX to work

For some reason, I can't ABX two tracks anymore.....I've done it before, but for some reason recently I haven't been able to do it.

Everything goes normal until I get to the ABX menu...when I try to play any of the tracks, the status and position readouts show 0:00:00 for a split second, then it goes back to "stopped".  In other words, I cannot get any of the tracks to playback through the ABX menu.

What am I doing wrong?

It's working now for some strange reason...I didn't really change anything.....weird, but thanks for the help.

i was having this problem before, and I found the solution! There should probably be some message reminding users about this.

I use ASIO4ALL as the output, and you can only have one app using the ASIO drivers at once--so if foobar2000's now playing track is loaded (paused or playing instead of stopped) the ABX comparator will fail to play any tracks. Just make sure your current track is stopped, and it'll work.
