Neh... I think it is dead. As long as that pesky FooBar2000 0.8 floats around on the net we won't see real dedication towards the 0.9 branch.

Even the developer for the Oddcastv3 DSP plugin did not want to start porting it to 0.9 because he thinks the new component API is too hard to learn and that it will take forever to write the new code.

I say: Get rid of all old FooBar2000 versions. Vacuum them from the net. And punish developers who make stuff for old versions of Foobar2000. I know Peter pumps out new versions of FooBar2000 all the time and that it may be hard to keep up with him, but when you live in Peters world that is what you have to expect.

Weeks/(or months?) ago I've sent the plugin author an e-Mail and a PM, no answer.

Shoutcast menu browser

In regards to the Shoutcast Menu Browser. The link above just points you to a translated version of the company main page. After a bit of browsing I believe I found a more direct link (Eng/Ger). I download and installed the program. It put something in my system tray that looked like a breakdown of all the categories of shoutcast, and it would open some silver & green looking playback bar .. but anytime I tried to populate the lists with stations or use the playback bar the program would crash.

Thanks for the suggestion but I think this program fails. Guess I'll stick to my foo_run linked button to the shoutcast main page.

It's working fine for me although I did have to get rid of something called SoundSmart Quicktracks plug-in it kept looking for. Thanks for that , blammo.
