FLAC Image Newbie Question

Both the wiki and westgroveg's topic on creating FLAC image files include the following:

"You can now store CD TEXT within your FLAC image using Foobar; just open your CUE sheet with notepad then copy contents & paste it into the cuesheet tag of the FLAC image file within foobar"

I've followed the steps to the point where I have a flac image and cue sheet from eac, but when I look at the properties of the flac file in foobar2k there is no cuesheet tag. Am I missing something? What am I doing wrong?

Thanks.

P.S. Sorry about cross-posting, I put this question at the bottom of Westgroveg's guide almost two weeks ago with no responses... and I'd like to get this right... I've got about 650 CDs to rip.

EDIT: Spelling error.

You won't see a typical "tag" like other metadata. In that properties dialog, you'll only find "cue_embedded = yes/no" to indicate the presence of an embeded cue sheet.

Right-click on the image within foobar2000.
from the context menu: Utils > Edit cuesheet

You might have to get foo_utils

In foobar2k v0.9.x select the FLAC file you want to edit.
Rightclick and go to  Utils / Edit cuesheet
Paste the contents of the CUE sheet that was created in EAC

Cheers!

I hope this isn't salt in the wound but FLAC CVS has an option to tag from a file (which could be used with EAC like flac --tag-from-file="CUESHEET=image.cue"); this will be in the release in september.

note the recent build with the compression improvements is not new enough.

That's excellent news Josh.

Out of interest, what will the format be?
