strange playback interruptions

hi. i got a very strange problem, which occured quite spontaneously but gets on my nerves because it occures more and more often:

i play a track, everything is fine.
i change to a track in my autoplaylist (for my rated files, nothing really special) and it isnt played at all. i can press stop and afterwards play, the song isnt played. when i skip manually into the track the spectrum gets strange behaviour: it moves but as if it cant go on, i hear nothing.
when i change to another track its the same, until i restart my foobar, no error-message, nothing.

anybody had similar problems? and can help me out...

ah yes, im using .9.2 final with regular plugs, nothing special, nothing changed for a while...

Does foobar only lock up when playing only a few specific files or does it not matter?  Have you tried playing those files in another player like Media Player Classic or GraphEdit?  Are you running any other programs at the same time that may be interfering with disk access or your sound system?  Throw different files at it, add and remove any 3rd party components you may be using and see if you can notice a pattern. Are these MP3 files causing the lockup or another format? The more information you can provide, the better we can help you.

no.
the files arent broken, when i restarted foobar, they can be played perfectly.
i gonna check my 3rd-party plugs, but as i said, this problem came straight outa nothing... very weird. no, no other programs using the sound board.

i know you have to know more about for helping me, but it occures so spontaneously and irregulary that i simply dont know how to discribe it better... maybe i shall reinstall fb2k... gonna check that.
