Unfortunately it still doesn't work with the german "umlaute". I wrote you a PM to this topic, Böreck (in german). But meanwhile I really have my doubts, that it's the fault of your tagger-frontend.
My used codecs and settings:
FLAC V1.1.2 -4 / APE V3.99 Update 4 -high / MPC V1.15v --q 5 / LAME V3.97b2 -V2 --vbr-new / OGG aoTuV V4.51 Lancer -q5

Whooops... One button had no anchor to the right side. It's no big thing, but It doesn't look good. I just uploaded the fixed program. If you downloded beta 1.3 before, please download it again.

@ R.A.F. : I PMed back  .

There are few minor issues with this version:
with 'use tag in the other dir' option enabled warning still appears that tag.exe not found (could it be disabled when using custom directory?), and 'view tag cfg' still searches for config file in current dir (to be more exact it tries to open <TaggerDir>\\tag.cfg).

And BTW: Max, did you ever think about another project? - Like a real cute cross-format batch-encoder for example. E.g. there still does not exist a single batch-encoder, which hits my needs in generating MPC´s with different quality-settings at once. Even Speek´s MPC-batch-encoder isn´t that perfect. I think you are one of the less people, who have the skills to do this - and you have the gift of "structured thinking" (lots of programmers don´t have this). I would help you with some good ideas (and maybe with a little money also), as I am really working a lot in this subject. Your tagger-frontend has a lot of things, on which we could build up. - What would you think about such a project? - Or are you too busy?!

warning still appears : That doesn't happen on my computer  . A possible reason: I haven't found the ini-saving-bug, perhaps the Tag-path wasn't saved correctly. Try saving the ini again.
I keep an eye on it.

'view tag cfg'-bug: Fixed in next version.

To the cross-format batch-encoder-idea: I thought about that, but I've got to learn more about handeling Win32-applications and dynamic object-creation first. And I'm a littlebit busy at the moment, but I think I could start it in two or three weeks.

One of the very rare good news in the last time....

I will write you a PM in the next time what this encoder-frontend should have....
