Monkey's audio commandline parameters for 0.9

I used to use 0.8.3 special, it converted my pae files keeping tags. Would like to do the same in 0.9, so I need MA commandline parameters. I know, that I must use -c4000 - what else?

And, BTW, your switch works very strange: although the files have all fetures of ape files including tags, they are wavs according to size!

My pae=ape! :-)

Nope, it creates huge ape files - the size equals to wavs!

Aha, the problem is solved! I had to choose lossless instead of lossy in the settings. I didn't expect it could affect anything! :-)

However, I'm wondering, why is this, and what has happened.

Take a look at the text in the "Bit depth control" group on the "Commandline encoder settings" dialogue.

With lossy files the BPS in the dropdown will be used, with lossless the source bitdepth is used.  Therefore, if the dropdown is set to 24 the "lossy" file will be 24 BPS while the "lossless" will be 16 BPS, no doubt.

Have a look at the file properties and check the "bitspersample" under "Other info".
