Mp3 analyzer (similar to encspot) for linux?

I used to download mp3s with winmx and encspot, but I have switched to linux and can't find any software similar to encspot. Is there a mp3 analyzer like encspot, that tells you what kind of encoder the mp3 has been encoded with, for linux?

note that mp3guessenc is not as advanced as encspot and "only" a commandline program.

If you could live with a command-line only application, there's a port of the console flavour of encspot on Rarewares.
