MP3 - WAV/CD quality?

General consensus seems to be that most of the time APS is indistinguishable from APX. It certainly is to me! That being said, is the same true of APS and APX files decoded to WAV/Audio CD? In other words, will there generally be an audible difference in an audio CD sourced from one or the other?

I know that going from MP3 -> WAV is not the best option, but I ask the question nonetheless...

In order to listen to an MP3, your system must decode it to wav in order to play it. So an MP3 or an MP3 converted to wav, this is exactly the same thing.

It should be exactly the same. As long as you don't try re-rip the songs from these mp3 sourced CDs you'll be fine.

Actually it's MP3 -> WAV -> MP3 that is bad.
