simple question about play_date....

i made the switch from 0.8.3 to .9 beta and didnt liek it yet only because there werent many plugins available yet. the preferences and configurations settings were so much nicer but i dont feel like having a plain foobar in the meantime to i went back to 0.8.3 and now i cant find the option in preferences to configure the format for play_date and play_time. i think i am missing a plugin but to be honest i just cant remember  if anyone could just point me in the right direction i would be very appreciative

You need foo_playcount.  (here)

Edit: Make sure to read the last 10 pages of the thread, as there are some rather significant changes (IMO) to the playcount plugin. (start here)
