Quality terratec universe drivers?

Im looking for a soundcard, and i know terratec has a very bad reputation when it comes to driver support. Im trying to get a audiotrack prodigy LT, but since that one is difficult to get, im also considering alternatives.  The terratec has pratically the same pci card, but in the past their drivers were really bad. Is there anyone with the the terratec universe AND recent drivers that can give some info on how good/bad the drivers are.  Most info i found on this card is older then the most recent drivers, so older threads dont really help.
