--alt-preset Insane == --alt-preset 320?

Are they identical?

With CBR they are indentical, without they don't.

Oh, sorry. They are identical even withnout cbr. My fault...

Well, I would think they are identical since the only way to get average 320 is to use 320 on all frames => same as cbr 320 => same as insane.

But its not clear from the sticky thread about settings.

The details could be different--there are a lot of switches beside the bitrate setting... e.g. they would be different from just plain -b 320, for example.

I did a few tests and "--alt-preset insane", "--alt-preset cbr 320" and "--alt-preset 320" give me bit-to-bit identical results.

--alt-preset Insane == --alt-preset 320?
