CD`n`Go Question...

I've tried Burn 'n' Go (part of the CD 'n' Go Suite program). At first I thought it looked promising, having the capability of making audio discs of almost every audio format out there, well, almost, as long as there exists a WinAmp plugin for it. It also supports buffer underrun technology and overburn. But after trying it out, I've noticed a couple of bad things about it:

* You can't change the pause between tracks (always set to 2 seconds).
* I was unable to burn DAO (Disc-At-Once) even though my burner supports it

The latter problem made the program select TAO (Track-At-Once), and for some strange reason it started to close the disc after track no. 1, making it impossible for my CD writer to add any more tracks to the CD (some strange error messages showed up after this). Don't know if this has anything to do with the program being in alpha state or something, as mentioned on the warning message that shows up once I run the program.

PS! I wouldn't use the ripper in the CD 'n' Go Suite, as it doesn't use a safe method of ripping. Also, for some strange reason, it uses an alpha version of LAME MP3 encoder instead of the stable release...

There is a patch available for download which "should fix the compatibility issues with some CD recorders". You should try if it fixes your problem, it's here
