Winamp plugin to edit replaygain values?

I don't see any options for the Winamp Shibatch in_mpg123 replaygain plugin for editing the RG values.  Even the mp3infpxxx file veiwer/editor doesn't seem to offer it.

Is there any way to edit RG values in Winamp?  And is there any Winamp plugin that will scan MP3s for RG values, and then write them to the files?

Or are we dependent on other software like FB2K to accomplish these things?

Thx

Wouldn't it be more helpful to post this on the Winamp forums instead of in the foobar support forums?

He'll probably get flamed to death on the winamp-forums for asking for support of a foobar-invented feature  You know, those forums are a bit less civilized than those here (which does not necessarily need to have anything to do with winamp itself, but instead with ha.org being quite strict and heavily moderated and with the simple rule "the bigger the mob, the more stupid the individual" - and winamp is big).

Anyways - i know of no plugin for winamp which can >write< apev2 tags to mp3s... (which of course is necessary to change replaygain values in the foobar-style at all). However, foobar also is able to read/write/convert replaygain values in id3v2 tags - that may be easier to implement in a wa-plugin - scanning/writing replaygain info to id3v2. Of course then you also have to accept the disadvantages of id3v2, but... oh well *shrugs*

If that is the case, wouldn't it have been better to post in MP3 general at Hydrogenaudio?

edit: correction
edit2: It's Otachan's plugin now, at least in my reckoning.

Actually I've always gotten great feedback over at the Winamp forums, and have haven't been flamed up to this point.  I posted the question here because this is where I 1st learned about the in_mpg123 plugin for Winamp.  And from what I've gathered up to this point, the only way to scan and edit RG values is with FB2K.  I just thought if I missed a Winamp plugin for that, maybe someone here would know about it.  I did search the Winamp foums 1st though, and maybe posting there would be a good idea.  But it seems people here are much more informed.

That was suggested in my other post to this forum on FB2K wiping out Lyrics32 tags when editing RG values.  But FB2K destroyed the ID3v2 tags made by EAC when it added RG values there.

See my post here.

So where do you think I ought to post?  The General MP3 forum?

Thanks

Ah.... I see it was you that initiated that thread.  Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  Reading through info there and elsewhere however, it's looking less and less likely that any such Winamp plugin exists if Shibatch or Otachan haven't addressed it.
