Cannot get command line parameter to work

I've used EAC and Lame for over ten years without any problems.  Recently I started to re-rip my cd collection to flac using EAC, still without issue.  The problem I'm having is that now, when I try to rip mp3s, Lame is returning  the following error:  Could not find "0". I've checked my settings meticulously and searched HA and the internet in general and am at a complete loss as to what I'm doing wrong.

Settings are as follows:

External Compression tab:

Parameter passing scheme: User defined encoder
File extension: .mp3
Program including path, used for compression: E:\Program Files (x86)\Exact Audio Copy\lame.exe
Additional command-line options: -v0
Delete WAV, Check for external... & High quality are checked.

Comment tab:

Only checked "Write following text..."

I'm using Windows 8.1, EAC 1.0beta3 & LAME 3.98.4.

I've tried different -v values and even tried --preset extreme but nothing seems to work.  Is there a known issue with this particular combination of program versions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm at the point where I'm considering giving up on mp3 and sticking with flac exclusively.

"v" != "V". You want the capital letter to specify -V0.

I'm pretty sure you also need the source and destination specifiers on the command line, e.g. -V0 %source% %dest% in order for it to work.

Thank-you very much Aleron Ives! That was the solution I needed. Funny, I don't remember ever having to add those parameters before. It's a long time since I set up EAC for LAME (3.97 I believe) but after days of frustrating searching I gave in and posted.  Much appreciated!
