Any reason why you specifically want to use this component for this task? There is also foosions foo_dbsearch wich also has very extended search functionality for the database.

It is available on foosions foobar components page.

IIRC, Curi0us_George (the author of foo_shizzle) lost the source code due to a hardware failure or something. This and his lack of time caused him to abandon foo_shizzle development. Even if you can find old foo_shizzle source code (for SDK 0.7x or even 0.6x, I don't remember), you won't be able to compile it directly with the current SDK. So your best choice would be to use Extended search or Database search.
