Recommended FAAC settings?

Is there any recommended commandline to use encoding with the latest version of FAAC?  Like a (very roughly) --alt-preset standard equivalent?

Or, saving that, a small group of recommended settings for various levels of "percieved" comfort?

Thanks.

Blah.  That gives me a whole range of settings without mentioning any point of transparency for most files, or any point of diminishing returns.

Hopefully one step above the default will yield okay results.  =p

Hans-Jürgen attempted creating a compilation of information you should consider when choosing Faac settings at the Audiocoding Wiki:

It's worth noting that I recently commited some changes to FAAC that enabled automatic setting of the lowpass frequency. It scales a bit more aggressively than Hans-Jürgen's proposed settings. I have no idea if they're optimal, though - I've found that my ABX skills are pretty bad

The default values can be overridden, so it'd be nice if someone would check if they're any good.

I personally would be putting a little higher then that.  Of course if you struggled with the last AAC test, those settings will probably yield okay results.  I'd be looking in the -q 150-160ish area, but I (think) I've got half decent ears for picking up problems with files.  ~135ish should be okay for most be people who struggeld with the last AAC test.  Of cousre the only true way to tell is to do an ABX test.
