DivX % - 100% quality

i encoded about 40 movies with autogk using divx5 and 100% as quality setting. i am very surprised by the results:
1. encoding time is much shorter (one pass only)
2. quality is excellent
3. size averages 2 gig

anyone else has tried that?
any comment?
