LAME 3.95.1 & libsndfile

hi all!

why usage of libsndfile in LAME freezed on version 0.28
libsndfile headers changed in early Jun 2002 (with version 1x) but LAME still use only 0x libsndfile version

PS) i'm strongly interesting in realization of audio input from the MS RIFF 32 bit floats and other formats... how can i help?

The situation is not changed since the bug is closed, because we are suffering the developper resource shortage and no one is willing to do it.

Could you write the patch to make LAME support libsndfile and send it to lame-dev @ lists.sf.net ? We will be glad to merge it into CVS...
May the source be with you! // Takehiro TOMINAGA
