MPC De/Encoder?

After reading through the various MPC Websites, I'm really confused with the situation of MPC De/Encoders:

There is Andree Buschmann's MPC-Site, which has an encoder (1.7.9c), a decoder (1.7.8c) and a Winamp Plug-In (1.7.9f).
And there is Frank Klemm's MPC-Site, which also has an en/decoder and a Winamp Plug-In, but with total different version numbers (1.02, 1.02, 0.93).

Beseides these official pages, there are ICL-Compiles of the Decoder/Winamp Plug-In (Frank's Versions) at RareWares.

What are the differences of Frank's and Andree's Versions? Is it like GoGo (optimized) vs. LAME? Which version should I use / works best (under Linux)? And worth the ICL Compile using it?

Encoder:
Use Frank's. It's the official encoder these days and includes many bug fixes and speed improvement's over Andree's older encoder. I remember Andree posting that his MPC page is only up because the university he went to hasn't taken it down yet.

Notable differences:
- Gapless bug fixed
- Improved speed
- Different command line interface

Decoder:
Again, use Frank's. It is fast and includes numerous bug fixes. The ICL compiles are up to you. Some would say they are crap and wouldn't trust anything compiled by an Intel compiler, others would say they're fine.

Notable differences:
- Improved speed (this is an understatement)
- Nifty decoding toys (Replay Gain, noise shaping, etc.)

sounds logical...
I was just confused, because of the two 'official' Homepages.
Does anybody know when www.musepack.de, will be finally ready?

Andree's Pages are duplicated on my URL. All pages are
a little bit reviewed and there are some additional remarks.
But I'm not able to replace the original pages with Auto-Forward
files.

I don't have any idea when www.musepack.de/com starts.
I expected this in May 2001. May be when Andree becomes a
pensioneer ... ;-)

Hey, as long as updates, bugfixes, and new features keep coming at this rate, I'm a happy boy, official site or no

Speaking of the codec, when will the Windows version of the 1.02 encoder be posted to your site, Frank?

I can just imagine this. Andree as an very old age pensioneer, sitting and programming/tuning the encoder to samples from the 1812-ouveture, Beethoven's fifth, Carmina Burana's "Oh Fortuna", and "Ride Of The Valkyries", lowpassing everything over 11 kHz
