I think it got played out.
I can't even listen to Wish You Were Here or Dark Side anymore without getting that queasy "I know every single note of every single song by heart" Sgt. Pepper sort of feeling. Hell I'd rather listen to Yes' Tales From Topographic Oceans, and I truly dislike that album.

  Even turning up the last few seconds of Eclipse to hear Sinatra in the background has lost its novelty.

How many people have to agree to like Pink Floyd before they move on to talking about King Crimson or Genesis or Yes or even (ugh) Emerson, Lake & Palmer?

I like what I have heard - all one or two songs that I can name without someone telling me it is Pink Floyd - but never have listened to an album from them or anything beyond limited radio exposure. Not planning on spending the time or money to start acquiring their music now unless I have a very good reason or just hear enough of their output and like it enough.

I especially like the Barrett stuff, albeit not that much.
