Looking for a linux tool like 'EncSpot'

Does somebody know a linux tool like 'EncSpot' (for Windows) giving precise information about a mp3 file (which encoder used, bitrate etc...) ?

Well, theres a program called oidua that is written in python. All it does though, is determine if the file is --aps, --ape, CBR,  but not the encoder version.

EncSpot has yet to act up with WINE, so I'd recommend an EncSpot+WINE setup. Nothing else I've tried has come close.  B)

Here's a fancy pic of it running with Slackware 9.1.
