Are there any decent android remote to replace Foobar2000 controller PRO

I got this on a friends advice. It worked for him but not for me. I'm running Foobar2000 2.0. The Installer gets to step 4 of 5 on my phone and doesn't automatically scan even though its on wifi, and won't accept the manually typed IP or MAC addressesss. I'm getting frustrated and wondering if there's something better out there. DId anyone try anything else with a remote like VLC out there?

As noted, problem is on your side.

The app works flawlessly years later, and it also works with new versions of foo_http_control (except the queue and power actions).

You also have the builtin HTML controller, which you can use on your browser. Or other controllers with more advanced options.

I specifically applied responsive design to this one, so it should work on mobile too:

I would love to see an update of foobar2000 controller PRO though.
