Installing Foobar and loading music files

Noob here - I will be running Foobar2000 on a laptop with a fresh installation of Windows 10. I will be using it to send WAV files to an external DAC.

Is there a recommended order of "installation?" Foobar then music files? Or, music files then Foobar? Or, doesn't make any difference.

THANK YOU!

It makes no difference.

The fb2k installation is separate from your music library.  You just tell it where to find your music library.
It's your privilege to disagree, but that doesn't make you right and me wrong.
