Focusing foobar properties when using global shortcut

Just mapped properties to a global shortcut CTRL+WINKEY+Z so I can quickly pop it out while a song is playing and modify the tags.

The thing is, if I'm working in a program (focused) and press the shortcut the prop window is not sent to the front like I thought it might.
It pops up but I still have to focus foobar.

I might be able to map the same shortcut to an AutoHotKey to focus the window but just wondering if this is a bug or is there any native solution to focus the window.
