I do not keep up on audio that much but I know that a lot of people are glad to hear that it's being implemented, however, I was wondering if this would affect my Schitt Bifrost?

It's nothing more than an OS integrated driver for asynchronous usb devices, I guess.

Source: Windows Support For USB Audio

I know of at least 3 independent sources of USB-2 audio drivers, (all downloadable for no cash) ,some of which I've tried for myself with good results.

It's good that MS has finally stepped up to the plate. It is shame that it took so long.  I wonder which of the existing ones they licensed? ;-)
