I started a new topic because i cant see which track is selected now in the playlist.

There's an extended option in the View menu (press Shift while opening it), called "Show now playing in playlist". When you select it, the player will switch to the playlist and select the track. Of course that won't work if the playing track is not in a playlist (e.g. when playing from the Library Search window).

A handy shortcut for that command is double-clicking on the statusbar. You could also bind it to a keyboard combo if needed.

TNKY very much!
PS why not to do it in classical way, simply always "select" the track?

There's a difference between selected tracks and the actively playing track. You need to be able to select tracks (for moving, tagging, etc.) without interfering with the playing track.

In the Default UI (which I think you are using), you can add a column called "Playing" in the playlist (right-click in the column headers and select from Columns). This will display a play icon next to the currently playing track. In the more advanced Columns UI, the playing track is highlighted with a different color than the selected one. See here how the 5 tracks are selected and then there's the playing one below in a slightly different color:

You could also check "Cursor follows playback" in the Playback menu. This causes the selection to move to a track when it starts playing, although it will not switch to that playlist. That makes sense, because you generally don't want the player to jump around when you're working in a playlist while listening to another one.
