Album list converts | (pipe) char into _ (underscore)

Hi all

So yea, Foobar's album list seems to display | (pipe) characters as _ (underscore), at least for album names. I encountered this after I added an album named "<|°_°|>" to my collection.

my album list is configured as follows:
Code: [Select]
%<genre>%|%<album artist>%|%date% - %<album>%|[%discnumber%]%tracknumber% %title%

Since | char has a special meaning in the conf string, it is stripped from album names?
