Trouble installing playlist (playcount) component

I've been using Foobar2000 on my XP machine for a few years, and love it. Now I have installed WIN-7-Pro as a second operating system on the same computer, and am having a problem. Under Win-7 I installed Foobar, and it works fine. Then I downloaded and tried to install the playlist component (Playback Statistics 3.0.2). The result was a new line in the list of components with the name of "unknown - please apply changes to load" and the version of "unknown." I downloaded again and tried the install again with the same result. The component is not working.

Any suggestions? What changes should be applied?

Since it is working on my XP operating system, could I simply move a DLL from that drive to the appropriate location on the Win-7 drive and have it work?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
