MP3 INFO tag

According to the LAME command line switch reference, the info tag is embedded in frame 0 of a MP3 file. It includes some information about the encoding options of the file, etc. If this is the case, then that's where the codec profile and the tool/encoder used informations are stored, right? Is there any way to edit that tag so I can correct the wrong codec profile displayed in fb2k by some of the WinMP3packer-processed mp3s? (Some of my 320kbps MP3s, after using WinMP3packer, displays the codec profile of MP3 VBR V4. I would like to edit that tag to make the "VBR V4" only "VBR".) Answer please, thanks!
