looking for replacement cable

so my sony mdr v-700's plastic cracked and broke up as most v-700's seem to do.
However ive repaired it and reinforced it.
my only problem now is i have to get a replacement length of cable that runs through the headband as the original was worn and no longer works.
im hoping you folks can suggest a site where i can find replacement cable

i tried using some from an old pair of headphones but it was too thick to make it through the headband.

anyone know of a place online where i can order the cable?

its 2 core super thin cable...

Often the same cable as the main cable for the headphone, with the outer layer removed.
