24-bit wav to flac, sample start not correct (wrapped)

Hi everyone,

First post, please be gentle

Ok, I'm using flac.exe to convert some 24-bit wav files (from Computer Music mag) to flac, so I can use a util called RMIC to auto create renoise .xrni instruments.

When I convert one of the wavs I get no errors, and the resulting flac loads up great into Renoise. However, the start of the sample is actually not right when compared to the original wave. It is slightly 'in' to the sample's original start. Looking at the end of the flac file, the start of the sample is at the end, so it has wrapped slightly.. any thoughts?

I am using flac cmd line 1.2.1 by the way on Win7.

Ps. they are waves with loops and the cmd line flags I have are ' --keep-foreign-metadata -e'

Cheers,
LW.

could be a --keep-foreign-metadata bug, can you host the original .wav and the .flac file somewhere?
