ELPlaylist: How to display an image?

Hey guys,

sorry for this stupid question, but I couldn't find an answer yet. Is there any command that lets me easily display an image in foobar2000?

What kind of component are you trying to develop, exactly?

I'm not really developing a component. I'm trying to expand one. I'm trying to implement a function into ELPlaylist which displays different images according to the Playback Statistics rating of a song. So what's missing is just a command that displays an image (png) for me.

check the documentation for ELPlaylist. specifically look at the $imageabs function.

Thanks for the info, it works fine now.

But that brings me to a different question relating to rating with Playback Statistics and ELPlaylist. Is there a way to implement a button which sets a special rating? For example 2 simple buttons: one increases the rating and one decreases. Is this possible? I've searched for a "button"-function and the command to change the rating in several documentations yet, but I couldn't find anything useful..

Thankies, Leo

ELPlaylist doesn't have buttons. it's purely for display purposes only.

for a simple +/- rating system just add buttons to a toolbar. you can then set these to rate either the currently playing track or the currently selected track.
